When you use Onomii, we collect and process the following personal data: • Email address (required for account creation and login) • First and last name (optional profile information) • Date of birth (optional) • Gender (selected from a predefined list) • Preferred language • App usage data: names swiped, sessions created, favorites and matches saved • Device identifier (for advertising personalization — free users only) • Crash reports and performance data (collected by Sentry, not linked to your identity)
We process your personal data based on the following legal bases under Art. 6 GDPR: • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing necessary to provide the Onomii service, including account management and app functionality. • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and service improvement. • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Personalized advertising via Google Mobile Ads, where you have granted tracking permission on your device. • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Where processing is required by applicable law.
Your account data, session data, and app usage data are stored in a database hosted by Supabase Inc. (970 Trestle Glen Rd, Oakland, CA 94610, USA). Data is stored on servers located in the EU (Frankfurt region, Germany). Authentication (email/password and social sign-in) is handled by Supabase Auth. In-app subscription management for Onomii Pro is handled by RevenueCat Inc. (633 Tasman Dr, Sunnyvale, CA 94089, USA). RevenueCat processes your subscription status and purchase history in order to verify your entitlements within the App. All payment transactions are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google Mobile Ads, a service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google may use your device identifier (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android) to serve personalized ads. Before collecting your device identifier for advertising, we request your consent through the App Tracking Transparency prompt (iOS). We use Sentry, a service provided by Functional Software Inc. (45 Fremont Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA), to monitor app crashes and performance issues. When an error occurs, Sentry may collect technical information including device type, operating system version, app version, and a stack trace. You may choose to sign in to Onomii using Apple Sign-In or Google OAuth. If you do, we receive your email address and, where provided, your name from the respective authentication provider. We do not have access to your Apple or Google account password. Apple may provide a private relay email address to protect your identity. We retain your personal data for as long as your Onomii account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is retained for up to 30 days to allow for account recovery. After this period, all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems. Crash and performance data collected by Sentry is automatically deleted after 90 days. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@gritness.eu or using the account deletion feature in the App.
As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the following rights: • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"). • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request that we limit how we use your data. • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format. • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
